Thursday Thirteen #3: A motorcycling review of the year in 13 parts
Filed in Thursday Thirteen
- New Year’s Day: The Pacific Coast
- February: Choo-choo trains! And E Clampus Vitus historical marker dedications!
- March: King City and environs. I never wrote this up, but I will, in 2008, because it was awesome. Sometime. I promise.
- April and May: a whole bunch of rides had to be done to snag the right photographs for this: a dream come true.
- May and June: we started riding to our storage shed in Stockton every few days.
- 02 June: I attended bluepoof’s wedding. It was a motorcycle wedding and absolutely wonderful. I never did write it up, though–perhaps for their anniversary. ;) I also went to Chitactac-Adams historic park, but not on the same day.
- 17 July: Don and I took a much needed break in Santa Cruz.
- August: I rode my first dirt bike with Carolyn. It was awesome. I didn’t write it up. I will, in 2008. ;)
- 27/28 August: We went camping to witness a total lunar eclipse.
- 15 September: the ride in which the rear of my motorcycle disassembled itself.
- 19th & 20th October: I rode my husband’s bike for the first time. We had to take the seat off to make it fit, but oh, was it fun to ride!
- 16 November: I fell off. Oops.
- 01 December: We met the St.Ners for the first time in Locke.

How cool to witness a total lunar eclipse, and away from all the ambient light of civilization - even better!

I wish I could ride. I love Harleys but I’m such a tiny (short) woman I could never handle one big enough to be highway legal.
Happy TT

Rach: yes it is. :) I don’t quite know what I’d do about it…instant adventure and instant relaxation all at once. :)
