Introducing…The Motorcycle Carnival!

In my virtual rides all over the world it has never ceased to amaze me that I haven’t come across a blog carnival with a motorcycle theme. This will not do. ;)

So, I’ve decided to start one.

Blog carnivals bring together articles written by those who are into the topic at hand. The creator either hosts them herself or asks for hosts to put up future editions, or a combination. Either way, you get a bunch of cool motorcycle posts grouped together and it’s a whole bunch of fun. ;)

So, herewith I announce the first motorcycle carnival. The deadline for posting a link to the carnival here in this post is the 30th of April. If your link has an April date, it’ll be included. If it has a May date, it’ll be included in the next one. Either way, the first motorcycle blog carnival will go live on the 7th of May.

The only theme is “motorcycles or motorcycling.” You don’t have to be a rider or passenger to take part. You can do fiction if you want. There are few rules, other than those dictated by common sense: the idea here is to promote bloggers and motorcycle writing, so contest posts, news posts, blatant self-pomotion, and photos without a back story etc. are not okay. And, of course, your post has to be your own original work.

If in doubt, ask!

Please please pretty please with cherries on top, post a link to this on your own blog and let’s get the ball rolling! If you mention this on your blog, whether you’re a biker or not, I’ll link to you at the bottom of this post.
