Department of not recommended: Stkn-Moto Cycle Shop
Filed in BlogI’m looking for a new battery. Yes, again. The last one arrived on Christmas Eve so you just betcha there’s a story here.
Still, calling around, I thought I’d share a poor experience, because I’m kind that way.
The minute the Stkn-Moto Cycle Shop heard “no, I need one in stock” from me, they hung up. Not a word, not an okay, thanks. Ignorant, rude, bastards. Don’t shop there.
They’re on East Harding Way.
Even in the grungy motorcycle world, I require common courtesy.

That’s just wrong! Customer service is lacking these days pretty much everywhere. I notice in my local cycle shop the people are very nice, on the phone or in person. I hope you find a good battery!

Thanks Becky! I did find a battery–had to go to Sacramento for it–and then the original vendor sent me a replacement as well. So I’m well set.
