RSS Call for the June motorcycle carnival!
Filed in Blog, Motorcycle Carnival, Weekly SummariesThis is a call for submissions for the June motorcycle carnival. Because I’m a little late, the cut-off date this time will be the 3rd of June. I’ll try to get the carnival up for the 7th, but as we are moving next week it might not quite happen that way. Everything will pretty much depend on whether we have internet or not by that point.
Worst case, I’ll run the carnival in July. If we’re not online by then we’ll be in deep trouble. ;)
I’m going to do it a little differently this time:
- Write an article that is motorcycle-related on your blog, and put in a link to this post to say that it’s a submission for the carnival. (Please encourage other bloggers to take part.)
- Contact me here to let me know the link to your submission.
- On the duly appointed day, I’ll put the posts up for everyone to read (doing it this way makes for more of a surprise).
Please pass out the word! The more people who know about this, the more the carnival will rock. If you’re willing to host a future edition, please let me know!
That’s it! Write about anything motorcycle-related: a book review, a trip you took, an issue you want to discuss, an interview.

Since I didn’t get back online until after the due date, I figure I’ll just postpone it a month (you were the only person who wrote anything, too!)
As to nominating, I don’t know that it would do much good…you can’t force someone to write for a carnival! But I sure could use some help getting the word out, so if you happen to be on emailing terms with any bikers, bring it on. :)
I’ll announce the next one in about a week. I should be more or less caught up by then (heh). ;)
