Arnica good!
Filed in Biker KitThis is Arniflora Arnica Gel. It’s mainstream enough to buy at the drug store: I bought mine at Rite Aid. You can even buy it at Amazon.com: see? Arniflora Arnica Gel.
Arnica montana, the active ingredient here, is an anti-inflammatory and brilliant for bruises. I can’t recommend it highly enough. When I fell off my bike a few days ago, I sustained a very painful bruise on my left forearm. The arnica gel stopped the pain almost at once, and the bruise reduced very quickly. It wasn’t hurting after two days. Going by past experience, had I not done this I would have been hurting for a week.
It is also good for sore muscles, and with a witch hazel base is chemical free.
Seriously, it belongs in your first aid kit if at all possible.
