About the author

I’m Linda Raven Moore, a 39-year old motorcycling author, motorcycle-friendly freelance writer, blogaholic and webmaster. I also chase historical markers down to their lair.

Officially, I’ve been riding since the 13th of January 1996;however, I got my first taster of riding, in 1988. I currently ride a ’96 Suzuki Intruder called Beastie.

You’ll find posts about the places I ride at Raven’s Roads. This site is not about me.

• 1988: Ex boyfriend’s Honda CD200 on which I learned to ride in a parking lot
• 1996: Honda CG125, Boris The Blue Bike
• 1996-1997: Yamaha Virago 535: Katie
• 1997-2005: Yamaha Virago 1000: Arnie
• 2005-Current: Suzuki Intruder 1400: Beastie

From time to time I ride my spouse’s Honda Magna V65, but only when I absolutely have to.
